Coaching positions for players under the age of 18:

R4U squad support - players aged 12 to 17
Apprentice Coach for U10-U12 teams - players aged 12 to 14
Junior Coach for U10-U16 teams - players aged 15 to 17

Ages are as of December 31st, of the current playing season.

Maintenance of Certification

Maintenance of Certification is the NCCP policy that requires NCCP coaches to maintain their certification through Professional Development and training opportunities over a predetermined period. A coach who does not complete the required PD credits by the expiry date of their maintenance cycle will have the status of 'Not Renewed'. For their certification to be in good standing, the coach must complete the required PD points within their maintenance cycle. Once this happens, the status of 'Not Renewed' will be removed immediately, and their maintenance cycle will be reset on January 1 of the following calendar year.

Community Sport-Initiation (CSI) - 5 yr maintenance cycle (10 PD pts)
Competition-Introduction (CI) - 5 yr maintenance cycle (20 PD pts)

A coach can view their Maintenance of Certification requirements within their Locker account.
